When I explained my lack of finding what I needed to make my appetizers for our Holiday meal, Marlana offered to bake me some rye baguettes! Yay!
My wife works in the bakery industry and said the cinnamon roll was hands down the best one she has every had. Everything about it was perfect including the icing!

So glad Marlena opened this bakery in Kapaa. She is hard-working & talented! I ordered a slice of lilikoi cream cake for a friend's birthday and she was sweet enough to write on it, and while I was there, I picked up a turkey pepper jack sandwich, (she made the bread of course) ~ both were really delicious. My friend isn't even that much into cake and he loved it. Wishing her much success as she just opened in March. She was making cherry pies when I walked in. Ono!
While in her bakery I saw all sorts of goodies in the display case. She then told me about her Holiday baking orders of pies and pumpkin crunch...I ordered 1/2 a sheet of pumpkin crunch for our Thanksgiving feast. It was absolutely amazing and everyone loved it (just like she said they would!).
I stopped in to get some cupcakes for a friend’s birthday and I was happy to see there were 5 there although I was told cupcakes were not a usual item sold here. So I bought them all. They looked great! Left over from a wedding order I was told... I gave them to my friend and we both took a bite at the same time only to discover the WORST cupcake either of us had ever tried. The cake was dry and tasted freezer burned and the frosting tasted like straight butter. The fresh pineapple filling was ok but neither of us was able to take another bite. I felt so bad that this was the surprise I purchased for my friend. We were able to laugh about it but at $4.50 a piece this was quite a disappointment.
Awesome service!! Very friendly staff and the chocolate chip cookies and caibatta rolls were very good. Wish we found it at the beginning of our vacation vs the end. Very glad we found it either way ☺☺
I searched and searched all the grocery stores for the rye cocktail bread you find on the mainland in the deli sections of most grocery stores, and had no luck what so ever. This is how I stumbled upon this little bakery after running an errand at the UPS store....
