Then while you pay with a credit card, the waitress hovers over you. Not exactly ideal when figuring a tip. This was very intrusive. I wanted to like this place so much, but walked away disappointed, as they have a ways to go to make the experience enjoyable.
Excellent food, but lack of wait staff and excruciatingly slow service during breakfast requires close to a two hour timeframe. Orders consistently going to wrong tables. Checks going to wrong tables. Definitely unorganized. Waitress never checked on us after bringing food, so had to physically go find her after waiting a long time. Waitstaff is way overworked, and customers are way inconvenienced. Was told they had peach ginger soup, which I ordered and ended up with pea soup. After waiting for ages I finally tracked down our waitress and told her I had ordered peach ginger soup. She then tells me it is split pea (at breakfast, seriously!) Hardly touched it when the waitress knew there was definitely a communication error, and they still charged for it. Write it on the board that have the daily specials!!!
Another favorite on the island. We’ve been coming here for years. Great food, service, and atmosphere. And wonderful owners! They use as much local ingredients as possible. And they also have an art gallery on the second floor.
We arrived early to beat crowd, food was of great fresh quality. My crepe took 35 minutes. Bill took 15 minutes to receive. The same person makes drinks as well as does the bill. I would not go back. We spent an hour there and we were first ones to arrive.
This place was a charming gem. The food was fresh local and organic. We had breakfast around 11:00. No long wait and I’m sure the it was the owner that greeted us. It honestly was experience with fair prices. I would recommend this place to anyone. Check out their menu, it’s simple and delicious.
Unbelievably delicious food and wonderful fast and friendly service. My husband ordered the old man and the sea and I ordered the Venice and we were both very pleased. The plates are the perfect size to satisfy you and you can finish your meal without a need for a take home box. Highly recommend!
