This was by far the easiest rental service I've ever experience. The staff was extremely nice and communication was excellent. No hassle of going to check out a car or waiting in line to return it. The car was in great shape, cheaper than other rental places and I didn't receive any hidden fees when I returned it. You wont be disappointed!
We rented the 2008 Jetta for 2 weeks. It was awesome! Car was waiting for us as we came out of the baggage claim area. Super convenient with no shuttle and waiting in line at the larger rent-a-car chains since paperwork was done in advance. Will definitely try to use this place again next time we are in Kauai!!!
Great company to deal with. Rented a car for a week, it ran well and was in great condition. The service was excellent and the car showed up where we needed right on time. Definitely recommend them. Bit better price too than some of the bigger outfits.
Fully satisfied with Rent A Car Kauai in all ways possible. From pickup to drop-off the entire experience was great. The car we got was a bit older and little more "loved" than a typical rental car would be at one of the big boy rental companies, but my wife and I saw that as a plus. Driving a 10+ year old Toyota with a couple bumper stickers on it made us feel a little more like locals for our week stay. It was nice to blend in a little more to the island lifestyle while we were surrounded by flocks of new looking Jeep Wranglers and convertible Mustangs from other, bigger rental companies on the island. Definitely give them a chance if you're looking to rent a car on the island of Kauai. You won't regret it!
I had a great experience with these guys. I dealt with Jeff, and he was prompt and pleasant. Their cars are a little older, but in great shape. I was given a 2012 Camry with 58,000 miles, and clean as new. Had no problems with the car. Jeff left me a voicemail before I left home, letting me about 7 hours before I was due in Kauai, as to where the car was parked. Sure enough, it was where he told me it was at the right outside the baggage pick up at the airport. No waking in line when I arrived, I just grabbed my bags, and was on the highway. I was able to get to the supermarket and check into my hotel in Kapaa before my friends off the same flight even got their car. Prices were also better than all the big dealers. I will certainly use these guys again, and would recommend to anyone flying to Kauai.
