on multiple levels. First the setting was completely natural, not staged or canned.Then there was Andrea. We both agree she is the best ever, by far. There was nothing canned about her presentation. She is a natural; personable, knowledgable, and witty. Andrea is just plain fun to be around. We recommend anyone wanting to spend a pleasant three hours or so, and learn a lot you did not know about chocolate, take the Steelgrass Chocolate Factory tour on Kauai.
Really enjoyed this tour and tasting! It's expensive but worth the money. Andrea was an awesome guide and she had a great sense of timing so that I never felt like the morning was dragging. The chocolate was obviously delicious but i was more impressed with how much I learned about the process and about chocolate in general. Plus she collected some tropical fruit to sample and that also was an awesome experience. Highly recommend!
The best, most personable, educational experience I have ever seen. All your senses will be overwhelmed with sights, smells, tastes, touches, and what you hear. Laid back and not commercialized, tours are kept small for a very good reason. If you only do one tour on Kauai, and your a chocolate lover, this is a must do. The chocolate lover in you will ask why it took so long to learn what separates good chocolate from GREAT chocolate. The people here put extra added value in customer satisfaction, and fun at the same time.
Highly recommend this chocolate farm tour. Fantastic award-winning chocolate, honey, and vanilla. All locally made! The tour was great and our tour guide, Andi was a wonderful and entertaining guide around the property. About 3 hours of tasting local Hawaiian fruits, and chocolate from all over the world. With a delicious chocolate gift shop at the end of it all
Andrea is awesome. She shown us so many good stuffs, all fresh. The honey from palm tree is unbelievable. MUST TRY!!! Also, Fresh Macadamia. Our family had a very unique experience.
