Jill was a very intuitive Massage Facilitator. I enjoyed two, two hour massages with her while I was in Kauai. The only issue I had was the facr that I wanted to relax and between her using too much pressure and people walking into the business while i was getting a massage drove me nuts. I like deep work taht is hurt so good, not ouch, you're killing me.
Next time, and there will be a next time at Ola, I will make sure my desires are clearly known.
Recently my hubby and I went for a massage while in Kauai. Leslie worked out the tightness of my hubby's body. He recently suffered from a shoulder injury then surgery. So his muscles were knotted from lack of use.

My husband and I noticed Ola Massage while eating at a nearby restaurant the other night. After reading other reviews here, we decided to get concurrent massages--I new I wanted one from the start of our trip. I left a message on the site explaning we wanted concurrent massages, but not a "couples massage", which never really made sense to us; for me a massage is an individual thing; doing it at the same time is just convenient. After a call and a few text messages the next day, we were all set for the following day.
I had several HUUUUGE yawns during the massage, which I've never experienced before; I know yawns are about releasing tension (I've never bought the needing oxygen thing), and I take it as a sign that I was really able to let go of a bunch of tension I'd been holding--I don't get enough massage.
Bonnie gave me a really great 90-minute massage. Great technique, superb attention (you can just tell, can't you?), and she listens very well with her hands. The only time I needed to ask for different pressure was on a sore spot--all else was perfect (not that one should have an expectation that the massage therapist magically knows how much pressure to use...).
I prefer a relaxing Lomi Lomi type massage. I want to feel like a jelly fish when done. My therapist, Donna's specialty was in Sports Deep Tissue. Donna did a good job working out a knot I apparently had in my neck and upper back.Even tho she eased up on the pressure I didn't have the results I was looking for.
It was really nice to receive a great massage and let go of any kind of concern. If we lived on Kauai I'd get regular massages from Bonnie--I recommend her highly.
Bonnie is an incredible masseuse! I have had a LOT of massages, and by far, Bonnie is the best I have had!
