Good, but not great (yet).
We ate Bobby V's, and it was amazing! They had gluten free pizza and pasta for my mom, and everything tasted ridiculously fresh!
Many stores still empty. Signs of progress in remaking the marketplace a great place again. There are some stores with unique items at good prices.
Very very cute. Lots of tiny colorful shops all put together. Kinda a nice place to just walk around. That said, the internet connection here was dead for my entire family. That was not the most fun. It may also explain why so many of the shops were closed or closing. Seemed conspicuously empty in certain areas, which is really a shame because of how cute the area is.
The management team are making this small mall a little gem. A lot of construction has already happened, now if they can attract enough vendors for the empty stores and restaurants it will be a fantastic stop for visitors.
Most of the stores are shuttered and the ones that are still open look like they are on their last legs. Anything you can get there, you can get in Lihue or Kapaa. Skip the tricky turns and main road traffic, at least until their renovations are complete. I'm not sure that will breathe new life into this location, but it's this mall's best bet.
There's also a gazebo. As an extra inventive, there is a cute beach a walk away. The beach isn't too crowded and it's pretty nice. May be a nice place for a picnic on a not so windy day.
