Food was good. Our server was fine, but extremely rushed. General management needs customer service lessons. Seated in lounge to wait for our table. Finally ordered a drink and then were almost immediately asked if we had paid our bar bill as the table was ready - the empty table in a hallway that had been empty when we arrived. Server didn't offer to carry our drinks until we requested assistance (my husband is slightly handicapped.) Not her fault, barely legal age and not well trained. Ordered and went to the salad bar. My husband's salad plate was taken away when he finished, but I guess I don't eat fast enough. Ended up with my salad plate and dinner plate. Our server was so rushed we had to stop her to order a glass of wine. Thank goodness the food was good. While we were eating saw other parties of two seated in window seats facing the ocean. Perhaps we weren't well enough dressed?
It is seated with a great view of the ocean... unfortunately with all of the windows wide open... we had little bugs to contend with all during dinner.
Can't beat it. It pretty much the only restaurant right on the beach in Hawaii. Yes, there are a few others in other islands, though as far a Kauai....this is it. As a steak house - it's Ono!
Dinner was decent- had the special (Prime Rib and Shrimp). Prime Rib was good and the shrimp a little too cooked. There was enough food for my husband and I to share comfortably. Salad bar was fresh. Best part was dessert! The coconut cream pie was great.
More food than I knew what to do with. Great service. Nice happy hour drink prices. Good view if you’re there before sunset
No vegetarians allowed....just kidding, though they don't have anything but a salad bar for you folks. Enjoy!!
This place was recommend as a great dinner spot by our tour guide. We looked at the reviews and still decided to give it a try. Service was slow. We had a guy get seated 10 minutes after us and was done eating his dinner before ours even came out. The prime rib was huge but that is the best I can say about it. Was not rare like the pictures other have posted show. It did not have any seasoning at all. The potato skins were not cooked all the way( we ate none of them). The only thing this place has going for it is the view.
