This guy is a crooked snake, he quoted us 500 for a wheel bearing and I added on a oil change, so about $550 out the door right. Nope he did everything to the car he could think of, hooked up the computer $92 changed air filter, and made the abs light come on which he changed me for as well and this is a single moms work vehicle, final bill $735 make sure you don't use this guy. He takes advantage of people, then lost his mind when I tried ask about the excess charges, very rude and hostile, save your self the trouble and use a real shop.
Went to them for safety check. Called before they were rude on the phone ZERO custumer service still went even thiugg they almost hang up on me telling me they cant work w all the phone calls. When I got there had issuea w insurance card which is ok but they carry an anornous chip in their sholder just out right ruse and unfriendly. Hope this will encourige them to shape up and treat custumers with a little respect. If you dont care about abusive attitude very crude loud mouth behavier there is no wait on safety when I was there but I rather wait an hour than be treated like that.
I took my truck in because of squeaking front right break. Right side pad and rotor and caliper were shot very worn. Manny fixed both sides pads and rotors, and right side caliper, I guess he thought left side didn't need it (note: lesson learned to change everything in pairs when it comes to breaks). I paid around $400 for mid-grade pads, no rotors and one caliper on right side. He charges $100/hr and we spent around an hour just talking about the issue and driving me to and from my house, which was right down the road, probably spent $100 just for his 'service'. Good deal? So on Christmas Eve I drive 20 miles south and the left break locks up completely and within minutes I have a smoking wheel and the entire left break job destroyed. Truck is swerving across the road and I am sweating bullets. Late for work already, I managed to get to Midas two hours before they closed for holidays. Front tire smoking big time. The wonderful guys there got in me and although their service is $25 more per an hour, they were much quicker and informative that Manny's. READ THIS.. the boss at Midas came to me after the job done and said that the right break pad that was put on the before by Manny was 1/2 inch unscrewed and basically rattling in place and not effective, which would only have caused disaster days or weeks down the road. All in all I wound up paying $850 for a brand new break system between Manny's and Midas, and if I were you, I'd pay the extra bit and get better genuine quality and warranted parts from Midas on Kauai. I could have just paid $550 for the whole deal from the start and saved money at Midas. Thank goodness my little girl wasn't in car seat behind me and Midas was open on Christmas Eve. Hey Manny, can I get my $400 in cash that I gave you back?

Manny is a reliable honest auto mechanic people have multiple issues and want quick fix cheap, it doesn't work that way! I have taken ALL my cars to Manny over the years and he is great about telling me 2-3 months left on tires, next tune-up gotta do brakes, make appts. and he is ready when you get there and car is finished same day ! Buy tires he mounts them! does safety checks even tough its a paid in the ass and he doesn't make any money at it, so understand when just use him for a safety check your very low on the totem pole of importance, kinda like the guy that only asked for water at a restaurant then complains about the service.
