This is a fairly pretty beach that is worth a look if you are traveling through the area. The lifeguard directs the public to swim up in the corner, but unfortunately there are plenty of rocks, even in the sandy areas that are probably more dangerous than the currents that are further down the beach. If you are visiting for a surf add a star.

Perfect beach for our December visit. All of the other beaches were too rough but this one was close to old Town Kapaa and waves were just the right size for the teens. Our favorite beach on the island during a west and north swell.
Perfect beach for hanging out and keeping it low key. There are undercover picnic benches, and plenty of beach space. Great for wading, boogey boarding, or body surfing and more. This one is a personal favorite.
