This is an easy and short hike to two different falls. The trail has partially downed trees in a few places. However, don't let that dissuade you, but know that there will be some ducking and climbing over tree trunks in a few places. Kids love it! Bring your swimsuit to cool off.
This was a fun 2 mile hike to the falls. There's a little rope seeing that was perfect for our kids to play on.
Lots of fun. We stopped at the first waterfall and cliff jumped. My 5-year-old even jumped. Great hike for a family. My 3-year-old did great, she never even asked to be carried once.
Tail entrance is difficult to see from the road. You enter on the north side of the road on the west most part of the foliage. He entrance closely boarders the brown single story home adjacent to it. Most cars park 50 feet past the entrance on the north side of the road.
This is a great hike for adults but not babies in Bobstrollers. Lots of mosquitoes and red ants!! Wear bug spray!! But enjoy the view!!
While the entrance is a bit hard to find, this was a very enjoyable and easy walk through the jungle. There are different pads to choose from. When you find the entrance and get to the river, take a right to go the direction of the falls. As of December third, the second Falls on private property was closed, but the first Falls is wonderful. Yes you can get in and swim here. Just be aware there are signs of wild boar.
