Tried the tin foil special, that was good. Also had a veggie noodle bowl, that wasn't good. The sushi roll wasn't very good, it fell apart and looked sloppily put together.

Pretty good japanese restaurant. Wish we had a chance to go back for more food as we had a light meal when we went. Sushi was good and the place was packed so we got seats in the bar in the back. Would prefer sitting at the sushi bar but that has to be next time too. The place has been there for many years, growing from a small sushi counter to a large buzzing restaurant, still run by the same family and lots of locals was there, making a nice vibe and its always a good sign to know that the locals likes to come back to a place.

Glad we stayed! We had sushi and sat at a table right in front of the sushi bar. He was so fast, so amazing. Interacting with everyone that came by, both customers and staff, while getting everything done! Congrats to him!!! The sushi was amazing and we weren't disappointed in any of our choices! Definitely worth every penny! (Unfortunately I can't find the pictures we took. If I find it, I'll update it!)

Got this hint from the Alamo driver, he said get there early otherwise it'll be packed. He was right! When we walked in, it was empty because it has just opened for the dinner service but when we left, there was a huge wait. We were upset when we walked in because both hostesses didn't care to even look up at us and say hi. We were about to leave and they finally acknowledged us and seated us.

This restaurant is somewhere between the contrasting 1 and 5 stars. It can't possibly be the best on the island unless it's the only one.

Service was fine. They weren't particularly friendly or attentive, and still slow even though the restaurant want super busy.

Very popular sushi restaurant catering to locals and tourists. Food was fantastic! But be sure to make reservations. Good for large groups. It can get a little loud though. If the parking lots full use the one across the street -it’s their lot too.

The experience people have here is obviously extremely inconsistent. Bottom line, I wouldn't recommend the place.

Forgot about us and sat several groups before us that showed up after we did. Only got seated because I said something, which would've been fine had the food been good. This was hands down the worst sushi I have ever had. I'll eat 3 day old sushi from the grocery store and I couldn't finish any of the rolls. The gyoza was also the worst I've ever had, so soggy everything was falling out. Presentation aside, it wss terrible. Not sure how this place has good reviews. This is also the first negative review I have ever left so I'm not that hard to please.
