This at times thin trail through the jungle does not result in the big payoff typical of other Kauai's trails. I took it as an alternate when I couldn't find the "Jungle Trail" that is support end at a waterfall. If you are just looking for a trail on which to the through the jungle, have at it. But know that there is no reward at the end of the line!
No Payoff
Trail was quite overgrown and muddy. Looked as if it hadn't been maintained in some time, but still a Kauai trail in the shadow of Wai'ale'ale. Wear long sleeves and pants to avoid itchy buffalo grass and waterproof shoes to trudge through the mud.
