I had the chicken tacos. Man oh man were they excellent! The chicken was extremely tasty. The cilantro sauce was so creamy! Would get again in a heart beat. Plus I ordered and received my food in 5 minutes flat!
I think this was called Kilauea fish market when we were there in May 2016, but it looks like the menu might be the same or very similar now even though the name is different? Anyway, I hope so, because that ahi tuna wrap was mind-blowing, and I still miss it! We were staying at the Islander on the Beach and took our food back to the pool bar there. So tasty!
Best fish tacos I've ever had anywhere. They have a great amount of fish and the creamy sauce with avocado with a little bit of spice made all the difference. We got the ahi lightly seared. They also have ono.
Ate here 4 times during a 6 nights stay and it never disappoint! Had both the wraps (soft shell crab and ahi) and the plates (steak, chicken, prawns), for lunch and dinner, all were spot-on every time, absolutely delicious! Would have been happy to eat there everyday!!
Hungry while out at 4 pm and this came up as an open place. Definitely lives up to the reviews! A nice selection with an emphasis on quality ingredients, made fresh, and at a reasonable price. The staff were super friendly and helpful and concerned that everything worked for us. I had the grilled ono tacos and the fish was amazing, so fresh and perfectly cooked. The cilantro cream sauce was delicious! Others in the party tried grilled plates and the chicken tacos and everyone enjoyed their meal immensely. A nice selection of beverages, loved the gingerade! Also, a fresh coconut cracked open for us. A great experience! Definitely stop here if you're in the area.
