  If you are looking for the best sushi on Kauai, I would skip Sushi Bushido. The sushi is fine and reasonably priced, but not to the standards of the some of the local stand outs. Our service was very slow but the sushi rolls came quickly. The sushi was flavorful and tasty but the fish did not have that melt in your quality we have found at other sushi joints on the island. Overall, it was okay.

  We’ve been searching for the best sushi on the island and really wanted to love this place but didnt think it was much better tasting than what we find at home in the midwest. My husband got served the wrong roll, but at least the correct price, and the table next to us was also complaining about their order. It wasnt a long wait, prices were as expected and staff were nice and welcoming. The food was ok, ginger very sweet instead of the usual pickled flavor.

  The service is extremely slow and unpleasant, and the food is mediocre. The udon came first, followed by a long period of waiting and then a salad. We waited a long time for the rest of our entrees, it was so unbearable that we canceled our order. This was not what we wanted for our Christmas Eve experience.

  Service and atmosphere were a perfect place to sit and enjoy drinks on our honeymoon! Our sushi "bar tender" was an awesome guy who was easy to talk to, non intrusive but fun, too. The sushi was prepared excellently. My only critique is that the nigiri could've been fresher since we were steps from the ocean. Delicious for ingredients, though!

  Awesome sushi chefs! Great vibe. Was offered opihi "Kauai gold" and really appreciated everything. Sitting at the bar was the way to go!
