All around a great place to stay. I'll come back to this resort. We stayed in one of the bungalows around the back of the resort, 50feet from an awesome playground (this place is perfect for young kids.) And 200feet from the ocean. Parking right outside our front door, good air conditioning, clean rooms and helpful staff. We stayed for 8 days and my only issue of any kind with this resort, is the restaurant on site. It's terrible. Way over priced, $22 dollars per plate for breakfast buffet.....wow. Slow service if you order off menu, and very limited options on said menu.
Services could be improved... housekeeping forgets to leave a variety of different items.
We had a fantastic stay here! You must book one of the cottages! They are recently renovated and very modern. Equipped with AC in the living space and the bedroom! The grounds here could use a bit of an update, but don't let this dissuade you. Very helpful staff, beautiful open air lobby, bar, and restaurant. Don't forget your complimentary Mai Tai's and the 2 beautiful pools and hot tub.
We love the property and decor. The wood features are beautiful. It is quiet. The grounds and nearby beach are pleasant. I like the smaller resort atmosphere which is very peaceful. The location is perfect for a variety of day trips.
The restaurant is the biggest downfall at this property. The management needs to train the staff on some of the basics of food service and the menu is limited. A trip to the grocery store was in order for breakfast items. A small fridge and microwave are in the rooms.
Friendly staff, excellent bartenders, and the location right on the water cannot be beat. Close to everything and the staff can get you to any event on the island. More relaxation and less touristy makes it a top spot to stay. The hot tub and pool was perfect for relaxing after dinner.
Loved our ocean facing room. Very clean and good Facilities. They have 2 pools and also access to the beach right behind the hotel. Great stay for family vacations! Amazing views for sunrise from the beach which is accessible from the hotel. They had an orientation the day after check in to brief us about activities to do in Kauai which is helpful if you don't already have a plan. They also help you book your activities for slightly discounted prices. Friendly and helpful staff.
Not to worry, Kauai offers many other choices for great dinning. You won't go home hungry.
