Unbeatable location, right on the water and near Kapa'a town. Reasonable rates, the rooms could use an update, but still very nice.
The rooms and bathrooms are very out dated and old however. We had to ask for room service at one point even after being on the beach and out of the room all day. Be forewarned there are chickens and roosters (like most of Kauai) roaming the property and like to crow at all times of the night.
Wonderful hotel, spacious rooms, beautiful furniture, gorgeous ocean front views. Excellent staff, lovely stay!
Charming location within easy walking distance to downtown Kapaa and several restaurants and bars. Updated rooms in a quaint, older hotel. Easy access to beaches, and the multi-use trail. Free bikes and beach equipment to borrow for the day.
We stayed here for 7 nights. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have free bikes, beach towels and beach chairs. This helped so much! The location is close to town and walking distance to many restraunts. They had complimentary breakfast in the morning with fruits, small donuts, toast, coffee, OJ, and juices.
Ocean front rooms are 100yds from the beach. to see the sunrise, you need only to have the window blinds and your eyes open at dawn.
Overall we had a nice stay and I would recommend this hotel for the price! Definitely stay in a Oceanfront Room!
