Staff are very kind. They accomodated me so well when I dropped in without any reservation (but don't do it! You better to make a reservation to enjoy the full experience). The location is perfect if you want to travel around the island and have a nice place to stay at the end of the day.
I know that some people left negative feedback but during my stay, everything was great. Maybe this also depends a little on the other guests who stay there at the same time. I expected a place with good people, Aloha feeling and comfortable atmosphere for a reasonable price. And this was totally what I found. We were sitting together every night with beers and cocktails. At 10pm everybody has to move to the „garage“ so that people can sleep. We often continued sitting together there until late, drinking, playing games, sometimes even playing guitar and singing with the hostel staff. The rooms are quite open, so not too much privacy in the mixed room. BUT the view of the sea and the sunrise right in front of your bed makes it all worth it. I got my expected aloha feeling. Thank you, guys! :-)
Had the most amazing experience here! Beautiful location and super comfortable accommodation. The staff were so friendly and added to the wonderful Kauai vibes. Met the most amazing people on the island and the hostel only added to my experience. Will definitely be staying here again! Aloha
Loved it! The girls only dorm was wonderful. Super helpful staff, great location. Only complaint was that the roof leaked in the rain, but the staff patched it up, it didn’t cause any significant problems. I would definitely stay here again, really clean and comfortable.
The best hostel I’ve ever been! Crazy clean (literally they clean the toilets at least 3 times/day), very nice staff, nice clean beds and well organized space! Amazing views and you have all day/night the sound of the sea! Definitely recommended and I would stay again without second thought!
